Tesla Model S
The Tesla Model S was Tesla’s flagship sedan, leading the way for the company in 2012. Taking over from the original Roadster, the Model S was the first piece in the Tesla “Master Plan”, taking the company from boutique car seller to global staple.
While it was replacing a car designed to be sporty, the Model S wasn’t a slouch when it came to performance. With the Plaid package it was able to break 2 seconds for it’s 0-60 time, while being comfortable enough to be your daily commuter car.
Discontinuation
Tesla announced the Model S and Model Y would be discontinued in April 2026, claiming they were making space in their manufacturing lines for the Tesla Optimus robot.
